HIBS 58 CLINCH LEAGUE TITLE.

Hibs 58 beat rivals Clonard Hibs ,Casyes win away at Crumlin Star,Casement beat St Matthews ,DC win

away at Forresters and O Donnells beat Star Celtic.


HIBS 58 6 CLONARD HIBS 2.

This was over as a contest very quickly as 58 raced into a 5 0 lead thanks to Mark Lynch (23&20) beating

Dan Delaney 2 0 followed by Sean Patterson (18&29) beating John Doyle and it was 3 0 when Tucker

Clarke (24&28) beat Anto Smith (24) 2 1.Next up Kevin Campbell (24)went 1-0 up only for Martin Corbett

(23&24)to win and make it 4 0.The match was clinched when Martin Mooney (23&24)beat Pearce

Maguire to make it 5 0 but Clonard fought back with a great win for Conor Hanna over Davy McCusker.

Both men hit 180 in the first leg and Davy checked out in a super 15 darter but Conor (24&18) took the

game and it was then 5 2 when Sean Paul Grant (22&23) beat Tony Corr 2 0. In the final game man of

the match Peter McDonnell snr (20&20) beat Adam McDade 2 0 to leave the final score at 6 2.


CRUMLIN STAR 3 CASEYS 5.

Caseys raced into a 4 0 lead with 4 x 2 0 wins for Stevie Leckey over Rab Creen followed by Butch

Mellon (24&28) over Fra Glennon and next up was man of the match Dan Cahoon (20&25) against

Seamy Martin and then Eugene Brannigan beat Peter Fitzpatrick. The Star weren't don't though and

reeled off the next three games thanks to a 2 0 win for James Porter over Peter Leckey followed by a 2 0

win for Freddie Stilgees against Gerry McIlduff and a 2 1 win for Ben Lagan (20) over Gerard Holmes. So it

went to the last game and Seamy Roberts (21&25) stepped up to win the match for Caseys with a 2 0 win

over Dougie Bowes.


CASEMENT 5 ST MATTHEWS 3.

Joe Mcattamney put St Matthews 1 0 up winning 2 0 against Ciaran McKay only for Vinty Lenzi(24&25)

to beat Con Kietly 2 0 and level at 1 1.Next man of the match Martin Irwin (16&29)beat Joe Doone(23) 2

1and it was level again when Mickey Tierney beat Jap Mckinley 2 0.Casement raced away with the next

three to win the match thanks to a 2 1 win for Henry McCann (28&23) over Billy Mcdade (28) followed

by a 2 0 win for Kieran Mcguinness (24&25) over Jimmy Lavery and then Paul Condon (24) beat Micky

Mccartan 2 0.In the last game Joe o Kane(23&29) beat Gerry McCormick 2 0.


FORESTERS 3 DONEGAL CELTIC 5.

DC raced into a 3 0 lead with a 2 0 win for Paddy Mcguinness (21) over Andy Gray and a 2 0 win for

Patrick McGeown (20) against Sean Fitzpatrick followed by a 2 1 win for Sean Armstrong over Michael

Burns.It was 3 1 when Caiomhn Burns beat Harry Smith but up stepped Gary Smith to make it 4 1 with a

2 1 win against Martin Stafford .The Forresters won the next two games thanks to a 2 0 win for Sean

McCurdy over Felix McGeown and man of the match Oliver McMahon jnr (27&18) against Dee Ireland

but in the last game Alan Hanna beat Paul Stafford 2 0 and claim the points for the DC.


O DONNELLS 6 STAR CELTIC 2.

Stephen Curley beat Brendan Mcstravick 2 0 to put the Star 1 0 up only for Tucker Kearney to win 2 0

against Paddy McAleese to level the match and it was then 2 1 to O D's with Tom Kearney beating Henry

Mctasney snr 2 0.The wins continued for the home side thanks to a 2 1 win for Paul Press (30&21) over ​

Henry Mctasney jnr and then Kevin O Neill (26) beat Tony Kelly 2 0 and that was followed by a 2 1 win

for Eddie Robb (21) over Aaron McGovern to clinch the points for the home side. That was followed by a

man of the match performance from Ricky Saddler(29&21) over Eamon McGovern to make it 6 1 and in

the final game Gerard Smith beat John Quinn 2 1 to pull one back for Star Celtic

I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for not having this in last week due to unforseen

circumstances.
