ADAM McDADE HITS SUPER 11 DARTER

 

Adam McDade hits a superb 11 darter in clonard hibs win over Star Celtic.Hibs 58 continue winning run against Crumlin Star.St.Matthews beat Casement,suffolk Celtic beat Caseys and Donegal Celtic and the Forresters share the spoils

 

STAR CELTIC 2 CLONARD HIBS 6

Where better to start than in the Crumlin Star club rooms where some terrific darts were thrown starting with Conor Hanna (20&23)and 180 beating Henry McTasney snr.. This was folled by Pearse Maguire(20&20) in a win over Rab Lytlleand then Kevin Campbell (20)hit the 180in his 2-0 win over Stephen Curley and Dan Delaney(22) made it 4-0 with a 2-0 win over Paddy McAleese.The Star got on the scoresheet when Paul Fitzpatrick beat Anto Smith 2-0 and was followed by a 2-0 win for Henry Mctasney jnr.against John McCannto leave the score at 4-2 to Clonard.In the next match Sean Paul Grant beat AaronMcGovern 2-0 to make sure of the points but the best was definitely saved to the last when Adam McDade played Eamon McGovern.In the first leg he hit a 19 darter but it was in the second leg with throws of 180 123 140 and a 2 dart 58 outshot

for a super 11 dartleg and left the final score 6-2 in favour of Clonard.

 

HIBS 58 6 CRUMLIN STAR 2

Hibs kept up their great start to the season with a win over Crumlin Star.Getting things going was Mark Lynch (24&24) in a hard fought 2-1 win over Dougie Bowes (25).Peter McDonbell snr (19&19) made it 2-0 with a man of the match performance against Gary Healy and it was soon 3-0 thanks to a 2-0 win for Martin Mooney (22&25) over Seamie Martin.Ben Lagan (28&210 stopped the rot when he beat Martin Corbett 2-0 and Tommy Henry(18) made it 3-2 with a 2-0 win over Sean Patterson.Tucker Clarke (29&21) made it 4-2 with a 2-0 win over Peter Fitzpatrick and it was points sealed when Tony Corr (29&27) beat Paul Porter (24) and in the final game Damien Corbett made it 6-2 with a 2-1 win over Robert Creen.

 

CASENT 1 ST.MATTEWS 7

St.Matthews travelled up to Casement and came away with both points with Con Kielty (29&29( beating Paul Condon(180).Next up saw Martin Irwin (26&28) have a good win over Vinty Lenzi and it was then 3-0 when Davy McCusker (15&123f) beat Eddie Robb 2-0.In the next game Kyle Dillon beat Joe Doone to make it 4-0 to St Matthews and the points where safe when man of the match Billy McDade (20&24) had another 2-0 win over Ciaran McKay.Ricky Saddler (24& 25) then got Casement on the scoresheet with a good 2-1 win over Dessie Magee(20) only for St.Matthews to win the last two games with Jimmy Lavery beating Gerry McCormick 2-1 and Allan Brown (23&23) winning 2-1 in a tight game over Kieran McGuinness (18&91f) to leave the final score at 7-1 to the visitors.

 

SUFFOLK CELTIC 5 CASEYS 3

This was a tight game that ebbed and flowed throughout the whole match.Man of the match Seamy Roberts (22&26) got Caseys off to a great start in a 2-1 win over Harry Smith but it was soon 1-1 when Paul Press beat Brian Kerr 2-0 and then Patrick McGeown (26) won a close game 2-1 against Stephen Lecky (24) to put Suffolk 2-1 up.Dan Cahoon (23) then levelled matters at 2-2 with a win over Junior McManus and Caseys went ahead again with a 2-0 for Matt Boyle over Kevin O'Neill.It was Joe Flannery with a 2-0 win over Gerry McIlduff that brought the sides level once again.James McStravick won 2-0 against Eugene Brannigan to edge Suffolk 4-3 ahead and in a tense finish to the match Tucker Kearney edged out Paul Smyth (28) to seal the match for Suffolk.

 

DONEGAL CELTIC 4 FORRESTERS 4

The points were shared in the final match of the night.Michael Burns got the away side off to a good start with a 2-0 win over Felix McGeown and it was 2-0 to the Forresters when Oliver McMahon beat Chinky Smith 2-0.Andy Gray then made it 3-0 with a 2-0 win over Joe Corr,but Alan Hanna then got DC going with a 2-1 win over Ray Lavery.In the next game Paul Stafford (22&23) produced a man of the match performance in a 2-1 win over Kevin O'Carroll to leave the score at 4-1 to the away team,but DC hadn;t given up hope and stormed back to take the next three games thanks to a 2-0 win for Seamus Armstrongsnr.over Paddy Black followed by a 2-0 win for Sean Armstrong over Gerard Callaghan and a tight 2-1 win for Paddy McGuinness against Stevie Murphy tp leave the final score at 4-4
