Adam McDade fires super 13 darter

Pearce Maguire got things going with a 2 1 win over Oliver Mc Mahon jnr with Pearce hitting 21&19
darts. Up next stepped Adam McDade with a 20 - darter followed by a super 13 darter (96 97 96 180
and a 32 finish) to beat Sean McCurdy J ohn McGrath made it 3 0 beating Ray Lavery. Dan Delaney
made it 4 0 beating Andy Gray 2 0. Sean Fitzpatrick gave some hope with a 2 0 (24 & 29) win over Joe
Flannery.but Cl onard Hibs raced away to win 7 1 thanks to Conor Toner 2 0 Conor Hanna 2 0 (24& 18
and Anto Smith 2 - 1 beating C Burns, Paul Stafford and John Toner.
Casement 3 Hibs58 5
Martin Mooney bt Henry McCann 2 - 1 with 22&18 darts with Henry shooting 20 darts Martin Corbett
made it 2 - 0 against Chopper McKay 30 & 21 darts. Back came Casement thanks to James Doones 2 - 1
win over Sean Patterson. Tony Corr made it 3 - 1 beating Vinty Lenzi 2 - 0. It was soon 3 - 2 when Paul
Condon beating Davy McCusker 2 0 (23&28 ). Mickey Tiern ey then made it 3 - 3 beating Peter
McDonnell jnr 2 - 1. The next crucial game saw young Mark Lynch win 2 - 0 against Gerry McCormick
which was to be followed by a man of the match performance by Peter McDonnll snr firing a super
17&18 darts to win the match 5 - 3
St Matthews 6 Caseys 2
ST Matthews kept up their good start by beating a very unlucky Caseys ,Matt Doyle made it 1 - 0 to
the away team with a 2 - 1 win over Joe McAttamney including a 16 darter It was soon 1 - 1 thanks to
Billy McDades 2 - 1 win over Liam McMena min..Martin Irwin made it 2 - 1 with a man of the match
performance over Dan Cahoon winning 2 - 0 in 18 &24 darts.It was 2 - 2 when Brian Kerr beat Pat
McGahan in 25&19 darts.St Matthews won the last four games 2 - 0 to make it 6 - 2 thanks to Joe O
Kane,John Consid ine (22&24) Jap McKinley and Con Kielty (22&21) beating Orchlan Kearney,Eugene
Brannigan,PeterLeckey and Steven Leckey respectively.
Star Celtic 3 Donegal Celtic 5
Paddy McAleese got the home team going with 2 - 0 win over Colm McGuinness, but DC raced into a
3 - 1 lead with Kevin O Carroll then man of the match Matt Doone (27&29 ) and Alan Hanna beating
Gerard Smith, Henry McTasney snr and Rab Lytttle respectively. Paul Fitzpatrick made it 3 - 2 with a 2 -
1 win over Seamus Armstrong only for Gary Smith to step up and make it 4 - 2 with a 2 - 0 win over
Steven Cromie.Eamon McGovern kept the home side in it with a 2 - 1 win over Paddy McGuinness. So,
it came down to the last game and Patrick McKeown won the match for the DC with a 2 - 0 win over
Henry McTasney jnr.
O Donnell s 2 Crumlin Star 6
In the last game of the evening the Star claimed a hard fought two points away to the O Donnells
Eddie Robb beat Peter Fitzpatrick in 28&22 to make it 1 - 0 followed by man of the match Paul Press
beating Seamy Martin 2 - 0 in 24 & 18 darts. The Star raced away with the match winning six on the
trot thanks to Dougie Bowes 27&24 beating Kevin O Neill 2 - 1 with Kevin hitting a 21 darter including
a 180 Ben Lagan 26&21 beat Tom Kearney 2 - 0 the n P aul Porter beat Brendan McStravick 2 - 1
including a s mart 19 darter .The next two games were 2 - 0 wins for Rab Creen and Freddie Stilgees
over Tucker Kearney and Ricky Saddler. The final game saw Tommy Henry beat Martin Lawlor 2 - 1.
So, it’s on to next week’s league fixtures Pat McGahan .
